Mum to Roxanne
Wondra started with a very ordinary problem — twice.
My name is Jess. The first time was at bedtime. I was tired of staring at the ceiling at 9pm trying to think of a story good enough for my daughter Roxanne. She's curious, she has high standards, and some nights she'd look up and say "Mummy, tell me a mummy story" — and my mind would go completely blank. After a full day of work and an evening of being mum, the creative part of my brain had simply clocked off.
I didn't want to let her down. I just needed a little magic handed to me. So I built WondraTales — personalised bedtime stories and narrated play adventures, built around Roxanne's real world. It hands you the story. You bring the love.
Then came the end of my own day
The second time was quieter. After Roxanne was asleep, after the dishes were done, I'd finally sit down and realise I hadn't properly stopped once. My mind was still moving — still replaying the day, still writing tomorrow's list.
I tried meditation apps. But they always felt like someone else's session. Someone else's voice, someone else's pace. I'd lie there thinking — this doesn't know that today was a hard one. This doesn't know my name.
So I built that too. WondraCalm writes warm, deeply personal meditation and sleep sessions around how today actually went. It hands you the session. You bring the stillness.
The pattern became a company
Both apps come from the same place: there's a moment every day where you need something, existing options feel generic or effortful, and what you really want is something that feels like it was made just for you. That's Wondra — profile once, generate forever, deeply personal. A doorway to wonder, whatever kind you need.
WondraTales hands you the story. You bring the love. WondraCalm hands you the session. You bring the stillness.
